Australian author M.A. Quigley has received recent recognition for two of her publications, Let’s Write a Six-word Story or a Poem and Cat Court. Both books have been selected for several awards that acknowledge contributions to literature and learning.
Let’s Write a Six-word Story or a Poem was named The Bookish Reader’s Pick, a category of The Bookish Awards which recognises books chosen by readers for their resonance and impact. One review stated: “This book has been honoured with The Bookish Reader’s Pick title… capturing [readers’] hearts and minds through compelling storytelling, memorable characters, and meaningful themes.” It was also awarded the Atlas of Stories Award, with the reviewer noting, “This is not a book of examples… it offers something subtler: a repeated invitation to map your inner world with a pen.”
