6 Upcoming Tata Vehicles: Expected Launch Dates

Tata Motors Unveils Upcoming Cars and SUVs Launch Schedule

Following its impressive display at Auto Expo 2023 earlier this year, Tata Motors is making waves with the launch of the forthcoming Nexon facelift this month. As per Tata Motors’ promises, there’s a lot more in the pipeline for the next 12 months, and we’ve got some insider insights into the brand’s updated product lineup. Here are six new vehicles from Tata Motors scheduled to hit the Indian automotive market within the next year.

Tata Punch EV

The Tata Punch EV, already spotted on trial runs, appears to be production-ready. It’s primed for a debut in the first half of October 2023, positioning itself between the Tiago EV and Nexon EV. Anticipated to share the 30.2 kWh battery pack with the Nexon EV Medium Range, it features a 127 PS electric motor for the front wheels. Entry-level models may opt for the 24 kWh battery pack from the Tiago EV for a more budget-friendly starting point.

Tata Harrier Facelift

The Harrier facelift, inspired by the Harrier EV concept showcased at Auto Expo 2023, is set to launch in October 2023. The revamped Harrier boasts a redesigned front profile with new split headlamps, tweaked tail lamps featuring an LED connecting bar, and an overhauled interior incorporating new features. Alongside the existing 2.0-litre 170 PS diesel engine, a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, previously displayed at Auto Expo 2023, may also be on offer.

Tata Safari Facelift

In October 2023, Tata Motors will follow suit with an update to the seven-seater Safari. It will sport the same revamped front fascia as the Harrier, including distinctive rear tail lamps with connecting LED bars. Expect the interior layout and features to mirror the refreshed Harrier. Engine options will likely encompass the 2.0-litre 170 PS diesel engine, with the possibility of a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine.

Tata Altroz EV

The Altroz EV, originally showcased at Auto Expo 2023, is officially slated for launch in the first quarter of 2024. This electric vehicle will feature EV-specific blue accents and share its platform with its internal combustion engine (ICE) counterpart. Powertrain choices may draw from the Punch EV, potentially offering the 24 kWh battery pack from the Tiago EV or the 30.2 kWh battery from the Nexon EV Medium Range.

Tata Harrier EV

Building on the concept displayed at Auto Expo 2023, Tata Motors is preparing to introduce the Harrier EV. It could adopt a closed grille and a connecting LED daytime running light (DRL) arrangement at the front, akin to the new Nexon EV. While specific technical specifications remain undisclosed from the Auto Expo, the electric SUV is anticipated to incorporate a 60-65 kWh battery pack, offering a range of 450-500 km.

Tata Curvv

Tata Motors made waves with the Curvv concept at Auto Expo 2023—a midsize SUV that fits snugly between the Nexon and Harrier. India can anticipate petrol, diesel, and all-electric versions of the Curvv concept in time for the 2024 festive season, albeit under a new moniker at launch.
